The City of Portland is seeking a Management Assistant (Administrative Specialist II) within the Business Services team within the Portland Bureau of Transportation!
This Management Assistant position will work closely with the Administrative Services Manager to support the Business Services Group on a variety of projects and programs that have bureau-wide application. Although the role will evolve over time we anticipate the duties of this position to include:
The candidate will be expected to contribute to various Administrative Service division projects such as but not limited to office operations, presentation materials, meeting planning, customer service, and internal bureau communication.
An ideal candidate will have strong communication, presentation and organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once; experience with interpreting policy/code and understanding legal and labor terminology; a background with a variety of communication methods to encourage staff engagement; excellent Microsoft Office program skills, and preferred website administrative skills.
