Job Title: Lead Teacher
Department: Youth Department, Employment Resource Center
Reports to: Employment & Education Resource Center Manager
Grade 6, 35 hours/week, full time benefits
Outside In’s Employment & Education Resource Center (ERC) is an integrated, career development program that works to help youth – ages 18-25 – move out of poverty and homelessness. ERC provides a variety of work readiness and job search activities, job retention coaching, post-secondary support, and an accredited, alternative school (Urban Ed). The Lead Teacher leads tutors, volunteers, and students in education efforts and is an active member in the larger ERC team. This position maintains a welcoming and low-barrier learning environment, providing engagement activities and direct instruction.
