Fulfilling Generation Z’s Diversity Expectations

With education on our minds, organizations not only need to think about Milennials, but even Generation Z. This will be by far the most diverse generation in our history…it already is! It is never too early to think about the next wave of employees. Here is an interesting article we wanted to share with you.

For most of U.S. history, white Americans have been the majority. So, previous generations did not have great expectations for diversity in the workplace. Now, however, the makeup of America is shifting significantly.

The newest generation, known as Generation Z, poses a new challenge for American businesses. Composed of those born between 1994 and 2010, Gen Z is one of the most diverse, multicultural generations in the U.S., and it will be the last with a white majority, according to the United States Census Bureau’s 2010 report, “The Two or More Races Population.”
